In this episode, I talk about how to improve sleep, how stress relates to training, and how to improve your lifting environment for more productive training sessions.
Sleep is vital to our health and well-being. It’s been shown that a lack of sleep decreases performance in the gym, reduces your ability to recover from workouts, and even impairs metabolic function. The abundance of technology at our fingertips can make getting to bed on time even more difficult. It’s just too easy to watch an extra episode of your favorite show on Netflix or scroll through social media while lying in bed. If we want to get the most out of our workouts, we need to take sleep seriously.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy!
