Questions on the show:
Q1: Hi, I am pretty new to lifting, and I don’t fully understand the difference between training for bodybuilding, powerlifting, and just normal working out. Could you explain?
Q2: What are your thoughts on the new IPF bench rules?
Q3: I can do about 10 BW pull-ups, but when I do assisted pull-ups, I feel it a lot more in my back. Does that mean I am technically not strong enough to do BW pull-ups, or my form needs to improve?
Q4: Is the fat on the edge of the steak part of the total fat macro when you track it? An example of what I mean is I track a raw New York strip with 17g of fat, but I didn’t eat the fatty part on the side. Is that steak still 17g of fat?
Q5: Not sure if it’s been covered. What is your opinion of fat grips? And is there any practical use for it in strength training/powerlifting?
Q6: What is the worst piece of fitness advice you have seen promoted online?
Q7: Hey Kyle, do you have any advice on how to avoid burnout? I used to love training, but lately, I have been going through the motions and finding it harder to get motivated for my workouts.
