In this episode, the topic of discussion is the effectiveness of using a bodybuilding routine for general fitness and the most important variables to track for efficient results in the gym.
When discussing general fitness, first we need to define what that means. Of course, it will be different for everyone, but to me, it comes down to four qualities: body composition, strength, cardiovascular health, and longevity. Is bodybuilding the best method for developing those four qualities? What about other fitness modalities, is there a better way?
We have all heard the expression “what gets measured, gets managed,” but when it comes to fitness, what should we measure?
Sit back, relax, and enjoy!
