After a LOT of hard work behind the scenes for the past several months, I’m so excited to finally announce that I have a new book coming out, Strength Training for Beginners.

The story behind this book is an interesting one.
It started last November.
I had two goals when writing Strength Training For Beginners.
First, I wanted to write a book that covered multiple aspects of strength training. There are books on bodyweight training, dumbbell training, and of course, many on barbell training. But, to my knowledge, there wasn’t a modern book that covered all aspects of strength training in one publication. I wanted to produce a “one-stop-shop” that provided multiple modalities to get stronger.
Second, I wanted to write a book for people who train at home. That was one of the most popular suggestions I received after my first book, Bodybuilding For Beginners was released.
Section one is all about how to get stronger using bodyweight training. In this section, I go over my favorite bodyweight exercises, progressions/regressions, things to look out for, etc. I also provide a bodyweight-only program.
In section two, we progress to dumbbells. It’s common for home gyms to have nothing more than a pair of dumbbells and an adjustable bench. You can get a very effective workout in with that. I included a bodyweight and dumbbell program in this section as well.
Finally, in section three, we progress to the king of strength training, the barbell. Keeping with the theme, I wanted the barbell section to be at home friendly. All you need is a barbell, weight plates, squat rack, and an adjustable bench.
And with that, Strength Training For Beginners was born.
I finished the writing portion of the book before COVID-19 took hold of the world. I turned in the final manuscript by the end of February.
As the pandemic unfolded, I became increasingly more and more excited for this book to be released. As lazy at home workout advice was passed around social media left and right, this was the book people needed, this is the book you need.
If you want to learn how to get strong, lean, and healthy at home, this book is for you. Grab a copy at the link below.
