Who is Kyle Hunt Fitness?
Hey, I’m Kyle Hunt— dad, fitness coach, author, competitive powerlifter, and host of The Absolute Strength Podcast. I’ve spent over fifteen years in the fitness industry, helping people get stronger, leaner, and healthier.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Fredonia State University and a Master’s in Physical Education and Sport Coaching from Charleston Southern University.
Hunt Fitness is my online hub and the namesake for my online coaching business. I started Hunt Fitness in 2010 before online coaching was even close to what it is today. I was just a college kid working at a gym, and I knew there had to be a way to help more people reach their fitness goals. So, I started an online coaching business.
Don’t get me wrong. In-person personal training is excellent for some people. However, not everyone needs (or can afford) a trainer in the gym with them. Most people just need a plan to follow and someone to monitor their progress and provide accountability. That’s what online coaching delivers.
Although I have worked with some of the best athletes in the world, my current roster is comprised mostly of dads like me who want to look and feel good while still being able to kick ass in the gym. If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place.
But, whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or an experienced athlete looking to take things to the next level, my goal is simple: to help you achieve your best results through practical, evidence-based training and nutrition strategies. I’ve worked with thousands of clients and know there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. That’s why I take a personalized approach with everyone, ensuring that what we do works for you.
In addition to coaching, I’ve authored several books on strength training and nutrition, including Bodybuilding for Beginners, which you might have seen on the shelves in Barnes and Noble or Target. It’s the book I wish I had when I first started.
Beyond that, I created The Absolute Strength Podcast to explore the world of sports and fitness. I’ve interviewed some of the industry’s top minds, and we discuss everything from training and nutrition to mindset and recovery. I’ve had NFL players, MMA fighters, an Olympic Gold Medalist, a CrossFit Games Champion, and multiple World Champion powerlifters. It’s all about sharing knowledge that helps us all get better.
